FAQ

Can a practice chanter be used in a Highland bagpipe?

No. A practice chanter is a standalone instrument used by beginners, intermediate, and professional pipers to learn tunes, improve technique, and practice fingerwork. The chanter used in a Great Highland Bagpipe is called a pipe chanter and is specifically designed for use in the bagpipe itself.
